Tongwei will exhibit its THC-G12 and TNC-G12/G12R series products at the 2024 edition of Intersolar Europe, both having recently broken world records for efficiency.
To meet the growing global demand for modules, the company has proactively secured a reliable supply of core PV raw materials and established a complete PV industry chain with independent intellectual property rights.
Tongwei will also release its ESG Report for 2023 at Intersolar, to further enhance transparency in its supply chains and ensure the delivery of safe and reliable modules to consumers.
With a current production capacity of 95GW for high-efficiency solar cells, the company has maintained its leading position for global cell shipments for seven consecutive years, with module production capacity of 75GW enabling it to increase module sales by 292.08% as of the end of 2023, placing the company’s shipments in the top five worldwide.
In terms of R&D, Tongwei is pursuing parallel development of TOPCon and HJT technologies, while also carrying out research and development for IBC, perovskite and tandem cells.
In May this year, with test results validated by TÜV SÜD, the company’s THC-G12 modules, measuring 2384mm × 1303mm, reached a maximum power output of 765.18W with a conversion efficiency of 24.63%. Meanwhile, its independently developed TNC-G12 high-efficiency modules have achieved a maximum power output of 743.2W with a conversion efficiency of 23.93%, marking the eighth occasion since 2023 that Tongwei has set a new world record for HJT module power and the third that it has established a new high for the power of TNC series products.
